aside from expressing the things manually has anyone found an effective way to help their dog empty their anal glands. I suspect that my dog is going to have problems from here on in if I keep him on orijen as his stools are not as firm as they were on previous food. I'd like to keep him on it as he is doing extremely well on it and the current dilema may not be totally attributable to the food.
fibre?
But in any event ran across an interesting website re grooming .

You can always add a bit of pumpkin (100% pure canned) to his diet. How long has he been on it?

Also, Im not even going to go into how dumb it is to do your dogs anal glands, or to have a groomer do it. The vet is the only one who should do it, and I believe it's illegal for others to do it (yips would know better..Im off to work!)
