I am glad it held off until after the kiddies went out. Usually we cannot hear the wind outside in our home. Tonight we sure can!

My room is in the northwest corner of the house and it shook more than once with some of those gusts.Glad it died down a tad before I was trying to go to sleep...but even with earplugs in I could hear it.Punkydo spent her first night alone in the new house....and of course was watching all the spooky Hallowe'en episodes Of Bones and CSI:N.Y.,etc.She called and said she might need more than the 1 glass of wine she had had to actually get tp sleep. /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/beerchug.gif /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif

My power was out five times since last night, the last time it came back on my newer cordless phone won't work any more, just a bunch of static. I plugged a normal phone in and it works ok, so it's not the line coming into the house /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif
That another thing I can add to the list of things wrecked by power surges and lightning!
