for all those posting adds on sootoday.com about their mixed breed females going into heat soon looking for similar type stud dog, or such and such stud dog looking to breed.... why don't you visit the local animal shelter and take a look at the situation you are contributing to.... there are enough mixed breed dogs (and purebred dogs) in this city that are unwanted or mistreated as it is, you are only contributing to the problem. there are too many wannabe breeders out there. sorry if i sound harsh but it makes me mad to see people trying to profit from the overproduction of living things...the same goes for cats... get your pets fixed people!! your only contributing to the death toll of innocent animals.

All they are are un-employed scraggy bums looking for beer money! They dont give a rats asss about the animal over population and the many innocent animals that are euthenized daily. They are lazy asses who only give a [censored] about any easy money that they can get their grubby paws on!
I could never, ever in a million years imagine putting my pets through that.

they make me soooo mad!!! they have no clue what they are doing. they pay no mind to the health, temperment, stability, or conformity of the animals they are producing or the animals they are using to produce... why don't we have laws that prohibit people from doing this? if you want to breed you should have to have a special permit.... there should be penalties for people who breed without permits... we just don't need any more irresponsible people producing animals...

I just love those ones where the mother is an X and the father was a Y but for only $500 you can have a pup. Well no I'd rather go to the pound and get one there after all a mutt is a mutt.

Kijiji has got to be the worst place for backyard breeders. Its filled with scummy people. That would be the last place that I would go when looking for a purbred. There are these French people who had a summer 'sale' on persians and himalayans. They always have around a dozen kittens at a time for sale.
Like this add..why are you breeding your dog at all!!
My Female Boxer type dog is going to be going into heat soon. Looking for a small boxer type male dog for stud. Doesn't have to be pure.

that was the one that got me started..sad thing is you see these kinds of ads all the time... let the registered breeders take care of keeping the breed going... these backyard breeders are only causing problems for the dogs they produce, the people who are dumb enough to buy them and the general population. they pay no mind the health of the animals or their temperments.

I agree, but it is also too easy to be a registered breeder, not all are good! I really think they need to become more strict with breeding dogs. In australia there are certain standards that need to be upheld with my breed (and I believe all breeding dogs).
