May well be the quickest 'war' in history.

U.S. defeats Canada in seven seconds, flat (and that is being a bit conservative).

Don't forget....the only war ever fought between Canada and the US was won by Canada.

Was there a political organization known as "Canada" in 1812? Let's check!

Well, that was quick! /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

So, there was no "Canada" in 1812. Therefore, the U.S. fought the British...and, fought them to a draw!

That's right, the brand new country known as the U.S.A. fought THE superpower of the day to a tie in 1812 (after beating them in 1783).

Canada has been the home of pacifists and cowards too afraid to defend their country since before it became a political entity. In 1776, many yellow-bellied Americans left for Canada, too afraid were they to fight for what's right. And so it has continued on, until today. Canada is, in essence, where people too big of pussies to be Americans go.

So it's pretty safe to say that, since the cowards are drawn to Canada, Canada could never, ever, beat anyone on any military skirmish, be it 1812 or 2012.

Here's part of a transcript from Lou Dobbs (Nov 2006):

CHRISTINE ROMANS, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice over): Waco, Texas, 2005. Under these three men, the Security and Prosperity Partnership was born. An effort, the governments say, to harmonize regulation and increase cooperation between three very different countries.

The Mexican president in Cancun this spring...

VICENTE FOX, MEXICAN PRESIDENT (through translator): We need to elevate the competitiveness of our economies.

ROMANS: And a new Canadian prime minister joining the discussions as this North American partnership barrels ahead, with departments and ministries of all three governments working quickly to integrate North America by 2010. The official progress report boasting, "Implementation is on track."

And now Mexico's new president, Felipe Calderon, widely expected to keep the progress moving. Critics, though, say there's too little transparency and no congressional oversight.

TOM FITTON, JUDICIAL WATCH: There's nothing wrong with neighboring governments talking to each other, synchronizing their watches to make sure they're all on the same page in the cases of emergency or on trade issues or even on the flows of goods and people. But if policies are being made that the American people might oppose, or that are contrary to the law, especially as it relates to immigration, you know, they're doing something a bit more nefarious.

ROMANS: He points to SPP documents urging the free flow of goods and people across borders and a wish list from business interests that borders remain open during a flu pandemic. Worse, critics say foreign policy elites are promoting a European-style union, erasing borders between the three countries and eventually moving to a single North American currency called the amaro (ph).
A Commerce Department spokesman, however, denies this -- "There is absolutely no plan for a common currency."

First you say Canada wasn't called Canada in 1812.

Then you say "In 1776, many yellow-bellied Americans left for Canada, too afraid were they to fight for what's right. And so it has continued on, until today."

So if Canada didn't exist in 1812, how did they exist in 1776?

Simply reading my original posts would clear up the confusion, T.

Canada as a political entity did not exist until 1863. Canada as a geographic entity obviously did exist in 1776, and way before.

Brits lived in Canada until 1863. After that, the people living there lived under a distinct Canadian government, while still maintaining some ties with England.

"Canada" accomplished nothing in 1812, because "Canada" did not exist in the form to claim any accomplishments.

Not only does Asia own the states, almost every product that Americans use is manufactured in Asia.

Canada makes up 27% of the USA's oil imports, We also supply the USA with almost all of their natural gas.

It seems that the USA is much more dependent on us then we are on them.

Speedy, you are the reason that despite the fact I was educated in America I thanked god each day I returned to Canada. You call us a bunch of cowards and yet fail to acknowledge a MULTITUDE of things.

First off, Canada has abstained from only two wars that America has entered. Vietnam and Iraq. The Iraqi war is an illegal war with unjust provocations (as indicated by the Geneva convention) and we all know the result of Vietnam. Over half YOUR own country doesn't support Iraq currently just as they did not support the Vietnam war.

Secondly, you the American who failed to enter World War II at the start call us "pussies". In short, [censored] you. My grandfather was already in a German POW camp before you even entered the war. And yet we are forced to endure movies of Omaha beach that conveniently fail to mention the fact that Juno beach was even more heavily fortified and Dieppe was a complete disaster (both were left to the Canadians).

Frankly, when I was forced to endure Americana at its peak, I had many a heated yelling match with Americans regarding Canadians being cowards. You want to call people cowards call my grandfather a coward for surviving 4 years in a POW camp after storming Dieppe and my other grandfather for fighting in Korea. Call my uncle a coward for being in Africa fighting or my best friend who is sitting in Afghanistan with the JTF-2 right now. Or you can call me a coward for being in the reserves. In short, [censored] you [censored].
