where can i get the ram to fit this board in town?

the ram you're looking for is called PC2700 DDR ram.

maximum memory size is up to 2GB, 1GB per slot. (as per the link you gave)

You can get it at futureshop, ot even staples, but they're definitely more expensive then online retailers or ebay.

Go to Clockworks, or Compusmart,....you should be able to get it for half the price of Staples or Futureshop.

you could even try looking on the boards here, i think i saw some pc2700 for sale recently.
