View Full Version : Tailbone pain

I woke up this morning around 8:30 and could barely move around in bed. I grabbed my coffee and slowly made it down the stairs, getting up the stairs was pretty hard. Sitting is difficult as is driving. I didnt do anything out of the ordinary yesterday. I did my regular housework etc...nothing at all different.
Has anyone else had this before? Im thinking of going to see the DR. on call tomorrow because nothing at all has improved /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif
If it helps any, I have a bit of a crocked spine and one hip higher than the higher. You would never guess it though, I walk normal etc.. and didnt know of the hip thing until the DR. tried to give me a spinal while I was in labour with my second. He kept hitting bone and couldnt do it. Im not sure what this pain is from but it is very painful.
Any idea is appreciated.

Have you fallen lately? I have a broken tailbone, its busted in 2 spots. Sometimes I feel it but most of the time no. I only found out it was broken this year (it's been broken for about 5 or 6 years now..maybe more). And I have the hip high too, are you seeing a chiropractor to get that fixed?

No I havnt fallen lately and Im not seeing a chiropractor. I had a MRI done 2 years ago and I cant remember what (I think its teh cartlidge?) in my back is inflamed. When my now 7 year old was a few month old, I feel down my stairs (indoor) REALLY hard. So hard that I was dizzy and pretty bruised up (back and wrist). When the DR. tried my spinal and kepy hitting bone for 20 min. it still feels like a bruise there too...I can still tell you what spot. This is no where near my pain now though.

This might sound weird, but have you eaten a lot of junk food lately? We have been eating very healthy, and when I do eat junk, I always pay for a day or two after. I can feel all the toxins and junk leeching out of my intestines and it really hurts my lower back. It's a real deep achy feeling. I know you're a vegan, so I imagine it's pretty hard to eat poorly, but still possible.

LL you really should see a chiropractor for that. It is the only thing that will get rid of your back pain (the drugs are just a cover up! The pain is still there!)
I've been going to one for a few months, I have degeneration in my spine as well as in my neck. Like I said, I also have the one hip higher and the broken tail bone and my chiropractor has totally taken away ALL lower back pain that I got from my kids and my neck pain.
Both my kids also have the hip higher, and they are 10 months and 5 years. They are also going to the Chiro to get it fixed and they've come a really long way! Yay!
