Sounds interesting, but unfortunately I can't make it. However, if your looking for more participants, there's a Sault Ste. Marie group on Flickr with members that may be interested.

    Mimi - Thank you
Grey_Wolf - All my fox photos are from the Soo Canal, using a friends Nikon 200-400mm f/4 lens. Having the extra reach definitely helps.

    Gros Cap

I took a ride out to Gros Cap a couple weeks ago, and came back with a number of photos that I'm very happy with. I haven't posted much lately, so I thought I'd share a a few of them here.

    Re: what types of photos

I really enjoy taking wide-angle landscape photos, usually during sunset to capture the late evening light and dramatic colours. It is a great way to get out and simply relax and enjoy the view. ...

kitca - I've never done any shows at all, so you must be thinking of somebody else. My guess is that you were at Bob Stares booth, as he does a lot of HDR type of photography. I may eventually get...

Thanks Karen-Annie. I was up there once a few years back and snapped a photo with an older P&S camera, but I plan to go back this summer to see what I can capture. It is a fun hike up there, and...

Here are a few photos from Snowshoe Camp on Wakomata Lake, which is on Highway 129. I took these last weekend. The shot of the mine is just down the highway from the camp.

Whitefish Island - Testing New Lens

I picked up a used Nikon AF-S 70-200 f/2.8 VR1 lens recently, and gave it a test spin out at Whitefish Island this week. Even used, it cost a pretty penny, but I think it was worth it. Here are a...
