Telus calls

Anyone here with a Telus cell phone receiving a call from 866-377-6334 that hangs up 3-4 seconds after you answer? I get these calls about 2-3 times a day and I am on pay as you go. If I didnt have unlimited incoming, that would chew up a few mins. Most of all I find these calls annoying. Anyone else getting this?

I get them several times a day. I don't usually answer them, since the first time I answered one, they hung up. If I leave my phone on vibrate, sometimes I find that I have 4 missed calls, ALL from that same number.

Yeah I just called Telus and apparently it is telemarketing call. Telus probably wants to talk to you about upgrading your plan

Anytime you get calls with unknown numbers, you know you can plug them into Google, eh? Lots of message boards dedicated to these "unknown" numbers, and usually you kind find out what the call is for and who it originates with. And just how many people are being bothered by it.

yeah I called the number back a few days ago and it was telus. I just called them earlier tonight and asked if there were any problems with my account that they would need to contact me over. The lady said there was nothing wrong and that it was probably telemarketing.
