What Canadian drinking problem?

Speedy is always making reference to Canadians as the ones with the drinking problems. According to the World Health Organization (2004), American consumption is 8.51 liters per person vs Canadian consumption of 8.26. You'll have to take root beer out of your math, Speedy.

I've never doubted we drink about the same. The difference is in the U.S. we sober up on Monday, and don't party again until Friday evening. In Canada, it's drunk time, 24/7.

How else to explain people living there for longer than three days?
