Garbage Day

Can someone tell me how many days late is the garbage pick up. If my garbage was suppose to be on Friday morning (today) will it be tomorrow instead because of the holiday or is it 2 days behind? Thanks

I dunno, I thought it was two days late, and mine is normally Wednesday, so I pu mine out today, and it's still out there, so either it's only 1 day late, and I missed it yesterday, or I don't know what's going on.

Regular collection on Monday, December 24
No Collection on Tuesday, December 25.
Refuse and Recycle collection resumes on December 26 (Boxing Day).
Collection will be one (1) day late for the remainder of the week.
Landfill Site OPEN December 24, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Landfill Site CLOSED Tuesday, December 25
Landfill Site OPEN Saturday, December 29 from 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

December 31 – January 2
Regular collection on Monday, December 31
No collection Tuesday, January 1
Refuse and Recycling collection resumes Wednesday, January 2
Collection will be (1) day late for the remainder of the week.
Landfill Site CLOSED Tuesday, January 1
Landfill Site OPEN Saturday, January 5 from 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Please remember to recycle Christmas wrap and cardboard. The two (2) refuse bag limit will be waived from December 26 to January 5 only if you are recycling.

A lot of people missed this. There's garbage all over everywhere you drive in this city.

I know my garbage day is tomorrow and seeing as we are moving into our new house at the end of the month I have been trying to get rid of as much as possible today. I'm only at 3 bags so far tho... I was one of those that figured if EVERYTHING is shut on Boxing Day there would certainly be no garbage pickup. I admit i did glance at the paper to see the ad regarding changes in pickup times. I just ASSUMED it was one day AFTER boxing day.
So..really...the city did its job in informing us and we just didnt read like we should have. 10 lashes with the wet noodle for me.

There was garbage pickup Wednesday? That's odd... that's our regular pickup day but it wasn't picked up until Thursday.

Or... were Wednesdays pickups the ones that were supposed to be picked up Christmas Day?

Yes garbage is out and gone but my recycling is still out there. They are usually late, but not this late. Hmmmm they better come soon. [img]/ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/lol.gif[/img]

Every stat holiday the garbage is always one day late. That is how i remember lol.
