Default Never a dull moment....

I hope I've done this right. I've never posted a video here before. Just wanted to share a funny moment with my crazy animals.

haha Nope. He's got 18 years of experience with all sorts of animals. He's the dominant one in the house lol.
They play constantly, until Kovu gets too agressive. Then he knows Dakota is mad when she starts to bite, and he goes and hides under the bed.

I'm just uploading one more. It's the one on my fb that I put there last night. Every time I watch it, it makes me laugh lol. It's nice to have these, since Kovu is up there in age, I know it's just a matter of time...

Lol. Yeah, Kovu's not too small. He's about 14lbs or so. I'm trying to keep him on the heavy side because of his age, so he's got some fight left in him if he ever gets sick.

Here's the one I took last night.. another piece of work!

lol I never noticed it the first million times I watched it lol. It was the tv in the background.
Thanx for all the nice comments. Life would be so boring without pets.

Very cute and of course they are so much better than tv. Pets are the greatest source of entertainment.

Awesome videos. I was trying to get some figured out but I still have analog and it's not cooperating but I'm also not that patient.
I have video of my pugs opening their gifts on XMas and am unable to share as of yet.

Well, over the past 6 months or so, I've been feeding him a variety of things. He chose the Felidae ALS at first, but one day he decided he liked Dakota's Orijen better. So, I started feeding him Cat Orijen, and he really loves it. But, I also feed him Tripe every day, and a half a can of Merrick canned cat food.
He's gained about 4 or 5 lbs in the last few months, but it's good because he's old, and could use the extra weight if he starts to age or get ill.

What a good relationship they have, they know their boundaries, obviously.

I have two big dogs who were here for years before my cats lived here. Two of my cats, my black female long haired girl and my orange male long haired boy are just itching to play with the dogs all the time. When the dogs lay down, these two cats lay in front of them and turn upside down in a "come play with me" gesture all the time. But the big dogs just grunt and walk away. They are senior dogs, maybe that's why, but they horse around together outside all the time, like two bear cubs. I imagine one day when we have a younger dog here, the cats will engage in play and get some interaction.

I agree with you about packing on a few pounds with the older pets. My big old dog Max is over 13 and he has dropped about 20 pounds in the past 3 years. He eats a lot, has had his vet check, but he is just getting old. I want him to have the weight in case he needs it for sustainability as he ages. Otherwise he is in perfect shape and very playful with our other dog but not the cats. He thinks they are little pests.
