There's Joy D on here. If you want her info, pm me, or she will probably see this and respond. There's Linda in the east end, Jo-Ann J. who is on Second Line West, out past Airport Road.

Not everyone has had great experiences one time or another with any groomer. The best option is to feel them all out, and see which one makes you feel the most comfortable. I've heard people rave about practically every groomer in town, and I've also heard some horror stories about a couple.
If you have the time, maybe call ahead of appointment time, and see if you can drop by to see them work before you take your pet there. Anyone who has nothing to hide would be open to the idea.

Not sure of the name but the one by the underpass seemed good, I think it was Paws and Claws or something like that. When I took Millie in she didn't want to be there at all however when I went to get her she wasn't that crazy about coming home so I guess she liked all the attention they gave her, which says a lot to me.

Unfortunately, Man Eater, we no longer have a grooming salon here. We only do nail trims and ear cleaning. I'd give a call to any of the groomers mentioned above, and they can help you out. The groomer that was here stopped doing cats a long time ago. So she wouldn't have taken him anyways.
Too bad though, I'd love to see your cat! lol

    Holy head lights!
Have you considered grooming your cat yourself? Im talking brushing regularly and keeping a cheaper pair of clippers on hand. I bought my first set at Canadian Tire for $40 almost 9 years ago. It also came with a video to show you how to do the basics. Id also invest in a very good comb or brush that gets rid of the undercoat. I do my 7 myself.

yes i have a pair of pet clippers, and he does get brushed daily and his toe nail are clipped as needed.. he just needs to be shaved..
I take him once a year to get done professionally... His hair is too werid for the clippers i got.

Are you oiling your blades enough? Maybe they need to be sharpened? My persians have a double coat and the $40 clippers that I had worked fine.
