    Default Looking for Motherboard Tray

hey guys... im looking for a standalone ATX motherboard tray, or if you have a junk case with removeable ATX motherboard tray, that would be good as well.

looking for something roughly like this, but does not have to have the side part with the slots and fan holes.

pm me with what you've got. *looks at mboy*

You can get mineral oil at drugstores, it's a bit pricy to get enough but worht it, Vegetable oitl and some others will also work but when they start to disperse the heat it smells like a deepfryer lol, also looks gross cause it's yellow.
I looked into this a few months back but opted out before I actually did it, if you do it let me know the results for sure.
What Size motherboard are you planning on using? I may have a tray kicking around form an old system

Hemi, my board is ATX, please let me know if you've got anything.

And yes, my Quad WILL be going into the oil.

Trinity, that's the idea i think im gonna go with... ive seen other versions, but that one by far looks the best.
This is an idea i've been stuck on for about a year now... gonna test run with crappy hardware first... then the "big rig".

gonna try and find a pump and rad to cycle the oil, or possibly put my watercooling system on.. not sure exactly which way things are gonna go yet.

the one I have is ATX, I'll dig it out of the shed tomorrow for you, it's kinda snowed in lol, I'll get measurements and a couple pics and you can let me know if it'll work for you or not

I don't think I'd be putting the power supply in the oil, being in the Electrical Technology program, I'd be a little hesitant about that.

Why don't we trade back cases Rich and you can drill out the rivits on the motherboard tray and use that. The case isn't welded anywhere, so it should come apart pretty easy
