Default English Triffle

I got the job this year of providing the Triffle for Christmas dinner. My wife's aunt used to make it every year but she passed away last year at the age of 94, so another generation had to pick up the tradition. Of course I hadn't a clue what, who, where or when so I Googled it. Found this site - http://www.joyofbaking.com - and found this recipe for blueberry triffle - OMG is it GOOOOD!!!
Made it yesterday and kept in the fridge until this afternoon - WOW!
Definitely use the Grand Marnier and try about 3/4 cup of sugar in the blueberry sauce. I made it up in individual glasses like the picture in the recipe. I used the stated amount to make the blueberry sauce and doubled everything else but the strawberries. I used 1# of strawberries and 2 bananas sliced up and mixed in with the strawberries/sugar combo. Made 10 servings and I probably could have gotten 12 if I skimped a little on each serving.
I give this recipe ****! (4 stars)
