I love boxers. Especially my white one. I can't believe until recently they had been destroyed at birth.
How could someone do that to a face like this?

I find it heartbreaking when you see the product when people who have no idea of what they are doing breed dogs. A prime example is with Australian Shepherds where they breed two merles together all you end up with are very sad cases where they are deaf, blind or both.

My favourite is the Rotweiller. We had one who was the biggest baby in the world. My kids could play "horsie" on his back and it wouldn't even bother him.

white boxers are usually euthinized because of the extreme sensitivity to the sun. thats what i have been reading anyways. i think hes a purdy dog though

There are a lot of health problems with white Boxers and white Danes. Deaf, blind, partially deaf or blind...rough life for the dogs and takes a special kind of person to deal with a deaf, blind or deaf and blind dog.

It's sad, but it's a fact of life when people play god. There usually aren't enough homes for the healthy dogs, let alone the ones with special needs.

I've been checking out rescue sites for the Australians and its sad to see the number of dogs there that shouldn't have been born. You are right it takes a special person to take on one of these dogs never mind those rescued from puppy factories.

Those reasons above are why I will never breed him. actually he was just neutered a week ago. He was born in prime condition GREAT hearing, GREAT sight. There's no reason to let a perfectly good dog die because of what may happen if he breeds or because he is not recognized by a KC.

White boxers are not a specifically bred strain. So it has nothing to do with careless breeding or people playing god. It's a genetic thing. Like red heads.

I agree with you on some of this once a dog is born no matter if the dog is a pure bred or a mutt they shouldn't be put down.

Adorable white boxer!! it's not mixed with anything else? the snout looks longer than a boxers in that pic. Tho maybe it's the angle of the piccy.
