What happen?
My daughter is really sick again. She has a cold and was doing "OK" but tonight after hubby left to go skiing, she got really bad. She's sleeping and I gave her Tylenol...but I don't think she's doing too great

I knew you were gonna say that! As soon as I read that, I thought about you saying that Macs! LOL
Cant keep a secret, if it never was a secret to start..
Macs, you don't know so don't comment She spent a week in NICU when she was 8 weeks old. This started as just a cold but it's worse now. She's not peeing, she has a hard time keeping her eyes open and she's got a mild fever.
Trust me, I'm not one to run to the hospital at the first sign of a runny nose.

Why don't you call the Ontario Health line? Tele- Nurse?? I'm not sure of the number But I'm sure someone on here knows it. i've used it and it saved me from going to emerg.
*kuietgrl* don't wait until tomorrow go tonight its nothing too fool with plus you'll get piece of mind if you go too.

Sound to me she's dehydrated
She hasn't slept much lately but she's sleeping now. I really don't want to wake her up I wouldn't classify it as an emergency. She'll be fine for the night, I just want to get her in to see a Dr. tomorrow...
And I know if I call the Telehealth they'll tell me to take her to a hospital ASAP. They've done that every time I talk to them...even for stupid little things.

Thanks Dr. Macs. You solved everything.

If you think she's fine for now then she really don't need to see a Dr. ...because they wont do anything but send you back home

Again, Macs...you don't know her medical history and if it's the same as last time, she needs antibiotics. It's not a "pressing emergency" but it does need medical attention.

Personally at that age I wouldn't wait to have her checked out, if she's not sleeping well there could be a few reasons for that and same with having a fever. What concerns me is that she's not peeing, that is something that you want to have checked out quickly.
I'm amused by stupid people. It's better than cable and it's FREE!!!
