Does anyone know of anyone who does in home child care in west end? I started my new job today, and I need a babysitter every second week... So only two weeks out of the month. I tried going through algoma child care and such but no luck yet. Any information would be nice...

did you try Jessie Irving? They are acity run day care. I had great results there.

I know it's not in the west end but...Call Alternative School childcare - 942-8705. Two kids just left before the March Break (Their Mom didn't need daycare anymore). They may have room but they will only take them until they close in June. YMCA starts summer registration May 1st...so you could always transfer after that.

It would be every other week... My partner works alternating weeks of nights and days... so he would be nights one week and days the next .. It would be two weeks a month.. from monday to wednesday.. aprox 8 till either 5 or 6.. I have a 4 year old that is in school half day and a 4 month old.. which is why conventional day care is not working out for me... I did have my son in the YMCA for 3 years. and i took him out in december due to some issues i had with the lady looking after them.
