hornet bite is just as bad!

Yeah I know, but at least they're quieter. I can't stand the sound of that buzzing of those bumble bees and the way they move......bahhh (shudders)

We had hornets in the frame of our window in our bedroom last year [img]/ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif[/img] They were getting under the siding from outside and somehow squeezed through into our room...there were dozens of them in there daily until we sealed up the frame.

One got me right on the knuckle of my finger when I was laying my daughter in her crib. I've never felt anything so horrible in my life! It felt like it was on fire and my entire hand ached for a week after...not to mention, I couldn't bend my finger because it swelled up so much! Ugh.

I'm just glad it got me and not the baby. We couldn't figure out where they were coming from but after that, the next day we did a very thorough search of the upstairs! [img]/ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif[/img]

I hate hornets they are always looking for prey.Us!!!!!!! Bees will not bother you if you leave them alone. Its when you start swatting then that they sense there is trouble.

hornets are worse i think. yeah bees mind their own business for the most part, but hornets anything sweet like colas or caramel sweet pops attracts them. i was once drinking a can of coca-cola and the hornet just wouldnt leave it was practically sitting on the can amost going inside, i was stung by hornet before and it was bad

The reason that Bee's mind their own business for the most part is because they only have one stinger; and once they use it they die. So they would have to feel really threatened to sting you.


Hornets on the other hand are just down right nasty buggers!!!

they must be all females
