Thanks Stingray. We seem to be getting a pretty good following. Blues rock is alive and well up here in the North,(US as well as Canada). We are also getting radio promo via Central Michigan University - 98.3 FM. Bob Barclay Show on Sundays 10:00 pm.

We're following the same formula as my previous Blind Druid Band, which was very successful in Thunder Bay in late 90's - same musical genre.

Also - Check out the Thunder Bay Blues Festival.

Gonna be a good one this year, Coco Montoya, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Fabulous Thunderbirds and Tommy Castro. Too bad we can't seem to do this in the Soo.

Five Below Zero approach is to be seen to be having fun on stage - it's very contagious for our audience. As opposed to a bored-looking country band.
See you at the Nickie this weekend? Thanks for your support.

I don't think the Jazz and Blues fest promoter here in the Sault understands the whole concept of bringing in big name blues bands for it to be successful. Bringing in southern ontario bar bands just won't attract a big crowd. So, if the Sault Ste. Marie Jazz and Blues fest organizers read this, here's a big hint why you're not getting the turnouts that you want. You have to spend money to make money and bring in the big names. I wish you guys all the best in your gigging and will come and check you out sometime.
