Hubby just called about 5 mins ago. and there was a bear in strathclair feilds heading up into the bottom of the subdivision...

I called the police then they told me to call the hotline.. which I did... but figured Id post hear cause the little big buggers move fast and there is a school really close in that area..

hp2, thanks for posting this. My young daughter wanted to go off on her own by the bush at Strathclair during her sister's game. I told her no, Bearbait. She rolled her eyes, like Mom knows nothing. I just made her read this, so she sees that there ARE bears in that area.

You'd think the police would patrol the area since the kids have to go to school shortly. Damned government better come up for more money for all the towns that have to spend more dealing with too many damned bears. GRRRRR!

At 9am my friend passed a dead bear on the side of Black Rd across from the Auto sales place. She called the ministry to report it.
