Do the grocery stores here sell grits? It doesn't seem to be a common dish around here. If they do what section would they be in?

I have had Shrimp, sausage and grits before, and it was very good, it tastes very similar to polenta. It seems very easy to make. Here is a link that looks very close to what I have eaten....

Grits are corn. Similar to cornmeal but chunkier I think. I have never ate them before but got this recipe that is suppose to be super yummy.
Does anyone know if I can buy polenta here? Maybe I will try the recipe with that if I can find grits on this side.
you can buy polenta at a&p...and they are basically the same thing

Try the Bulk Barn. I get my corn meal there so maybe they have grits too?
I bought grits at A&P Northern Ave, in the health food area but they have been discontinued. Looked like slightly grainier corn meal. So maybe check the health food sections.
People who use the internet to stalk or creep are generally useless, boring people. REALLY!!
Thanks everyone I'll try all of the above!
