Default Biking on the bridge

Does anyone know if you can still bike across the bridge? I would like to know so I dont have to go on the bridge bus because if there is a backup, I may not be able to get back across.

You're a vehicle - you have to take your place in line - if you think you can whip by everyone and get through - good luck with that.

Unless you mean if the bus was full, you would have to wait for the next one - in which case, please disregard previous snide comment

Yes you can bike, my brother does it all the time. And he also zips to the front of the line..lol. I left 20 minutes before him from the US one day and after MY wait, turns out he waited at home for over an hour for me.

Okay so its established that I can bike across but what about waiting in line. I dont mind waiting my turn, as per TREEFROG's comment and it certainly wasnt my intention just to skip ahead of everyone. Where would I go to pass through customs?

Tool Booth you go through like a regular car as you still have to pay for your 2 wheels.

    Show ID and stuff too.

Well I am assuming since givememore's brother was able to skip ahead of everyone, there must be something special in place for bike riders.

There was somewhere he had to lift the bike and carry it around, one of the tolls, not sure which one, cause it would throw off the scale sensor, so it musta been across.

My brother just said that he passed the long lineup into Canada, pulled up behind the car that was in Customs but slightly in front of the guy waiting, and then said what he was doing over there that he was Canadian and they waved him off. Hope it helps.
