    I think it is simply amazing how the food chain goes and how many of the wolves it took to bring down a moose of that size. I would have sat up in that tree and took pics of it too because other then on the television, you would never ever see that in nature....unless those wolves were hungry enough to come after you. Now how's that for thinking about the food chain????

    yeah I try to only eat moose meat, I don't like the idea of all the chemicals and hormones in beef, the thought grosses me out.
    My dad hunts and I love moose meat, I guess wolves do too lol.

    They really are amazing pictures. I got them in my email as well!

    I really don't know what people found so disturbing, there was really very little blood in those shots and really not alot of gore. In fact aside from the basic idea of whats really happening in these shots there is NOTHING gross or disgusting in them.
    Is it a bit unsetteling yes, because it shows us all what happens in nature. I mean we know it happens, but here is living colour.

    By the by, I too am a LOVER of moose meat. I'd take a nice moose steak on the BBQ over a Filet Minon or any other cut of beef hands down.
