Of the many recent measures that the U.S. government has taken to address the ongoing economic crisis - and the credit freeze in particular - the most sweeping is the $700 billion in newly-approved funding that will be used, in part, to invest in banks and buy bad mortgage assets. The aim is to free up the major banks to lend once again.
Bush said that the government would limit its intervention in size and scope, and did not intend to nationalize the banking system. "The government intervention is not a government takeover," he said.

Just to make sure I understand: Are you criticizing Bush for the bailout package? You are NOT in favour?

That's one of the most stupidest things I've ever heard of. Bush should never have been in office to begin with. If it wasn't for daddy, and many votes not being counted for the other party, he never would've gotten there.

I'm not pro-anarchy, the idea of someone being allowed to kill me because they don't like my opinion doesn't do much for me :P
In this case, true liberty wouldn't last you too long, since the friends of anyone you killed would soon come after you.

You have a perverted view of true liberty.
