Do you have a turn dial tv? If you don't and it's a regular tv, check the settings. Change it to STD or CATV.

I think it might be cheaper and easier to buy a VCR and use it's receiver to switch channels?

I'm just thinking of buying a used 19' w/rc. I can't watch sports desk in the morning on that tv in my bedroom. I thought it mite work if I advertised for one on Soonet. Not quite sure on what to do quite yet. If you know of any smallest is a 19',,,,,,,thx

No, it's not a tv with a channet chager handle. It is a electronic with push button tasks.
