I only took half of a tab when I did take it..

You might be feeling groggy when you get up today

Seems to depend on the person. My friend's mom takes them when necessary and swears by them. She says it's the most restful sleep and wakes up fresh and alert.

I on the other hand did not have such an enjoyable experience. I woke up on time but was dragging my rear all day, finally perked up around 8:30 at night, coudn't sleep until 3:30am and was all screwed up for the rest of the week. NEVER AGAIN for me.

far as ive read up on it is a natural hormone that we produce and we produce less as we age. my parents both swear by it.

i cant take it every nite. it only works for about 2-3 times then i need to not take it for a few days. it just doesnt work after 3 days strait. apparently this is fairly common from what i have found online info.

all is does is make me tired so i can sleep. usually it takes ah hour or tossing and turning for me to fall asleep, but when i take melatonin i can fall asleep in about 10 minutes. it doesnt keep me asleep all nite, only puts me to sleep.

studies show that we need our rooms to be quite dark at night to be able to make our own proper levels of melatonin.
