Kitten food is higher in fat and in protein, so it will for sure help with weight gain. If it was a UTI, just make sure the food is low in ash and magnesium. An ALS (all life stage) food would probably do good as well.

thanks yips, im scared of the higher fat (didnt know it was higher protein too) affecting her because of her age
is there a food you recommend?
i am feeding them medi-cal hypo/sensitive stomach food because of her....apparently easier to digest
they are doing well on it, but i dont think she loves it lol

when i read the title i thought u meant a humane senior..lol.sorry, i dont see why it would hurt it, it just has more fatty stuff in it,and would be easier on their stomachs i would imagine,,

i dont like the extra fat, she does need to put on the weight but i'd rather she do it the normal way instead of the fatty way lol
plus higher protein isnt that great for a senior....
im trying to get really yummy food for them so that she'll eat!!!!
    this is so stressful!!!
maybe i'll just cave and get royal canin
yrs ago i used to feed them iams and u know, they all did well on it....
so i was looking it up online last night the ingredients include corn grits.....wtf?????????? is that anyway?
    god...why corn grits?
    anyway.....
