Ps2 help!

O.k. we bought the GH4 combo set for our daughter for Christmas....BUT it won't play in her system!! It's for the ps2 and all her other discs work in the ps2 but NOT the GH4! We tried the GH4 disc on the ps3 and it works.....any ideas why it won't play it?

There's been numerous reports of Guitar Hero World Tour not working in some PS2 systems. It appears to be luck of the draw.

not just that, i had a friend with the same problem, would read any disc but world tour... he gave a laser a little rub with a dry clean q-tip, and it worked for him.

Just so anyone else runs into this problem...some of the ps2's will not play GH4, the console has to be sent in and upgraded. So on top of the $200+ we spent on the game we have to spend another $75 on the system so she can play it.
