    Default Rebuilt Altenators

Anyone know roughly how much alternators go for these days? I think I had one done for about $70, but it's been awhile

I agree 100%. He also tests and backs any alt. or starter he rebuilds. I recommend him to everyone that asks

I wouldn't take my red wagon to these guys..They suck!! I should know our shop used them for a long time.
And they never came good for any starter or alternator comebacks..

So they sucked, and you kept using them for a long time? Makes sense to me.

I called them (but the # was different in the phone book) game me a price quote high and low. Told me they could look at my alternator and tell me how much it'll cost to rebuild. I don't know who else to go to, and that's who I used before. The one I had was rebuilt before I think. It lasted about 1yr and a half. Does that sound about right? The life expectancy for a rebuilt one?

There's just something about the Total businesses on Bruce St. I think they all have to keep up with example of cheerful good service set by the guys at Total Tire.
Or maybe it's the close proximity to another good business (The Beer Store).

+1 on Total. A lot of the time he has units on the shelf ready to go and you won't have to wait for yours to be rebuilt.

I have never used anyone other than Sonny. Good price, great work, fantastic guarantee. Can't beat him with a club.
