Air Transat/Nolitours cancelled from Sault

For anyone who booked with them to Mexico or Cuba they cancelled all flights from the Sault effective today. They are giving full refunds to anyone who paid but booking with Sunwing now is costing quite a bit more.

Oh, really? That didn't last long, did it. Sucks for anyone who thought they'd do a winter get-away.

I rebooked it with Sunwing as they are still flying from here.

This is interesting as I have friends in Cuba as we speak and I picking them up at 2:40 on Friday. Hope all goes smooth.

Well I'm not terribly impressed, but there are people who are in a lot more of a bind then we are. We will book our trip with another tour operator. I feel bad for those who are supposed to be leaving on Friday and next Monday. I have a couple of months to work out the details of our Carribean Vacation and I will figure it out.

I know someone who is leaving on Friday to Cuba through sell off vacations. They are supposed to be leaving from the Sault.

IF they booked through Sunwing they will be fine, if it was an Transat, they will have been cancelled.
