    Default Donating Clothes and Coats

I want to donate a pile of clothes, lots of sweaters and a few winter coats. Does anyone know where I can take them where ppl can have them for free. I don't want to give them to value village because they charge ppl for them. Why should they profit from something they recieved free???

Anyhow, I know there are ppl out there that could really use these sweaters and coats, I just don't know where to drop them off.

    Any ideas anyone???

Yes, the places crazymammma mentioned should take the clothes and jackets. Also, you could try calling Women in Crisis and ask if they need any clothes for their clients, or the Children's Aid Society. The CAS may need them for foster children.

Its womens clothing though. Isn't Vincent place for men? As for the Salvation Army, thats where I was gonna take them unless there is a free place. I know the Sally Ann is cheap, but free is better

There are drop boxes around town that the clothes that are put in them are GIVEN away to people in need. There is one just over the tracks beside the beer store on Bruce street. I think they are run by community Living Algoma

I was also going to say Community Clothing Closet on Bruce St. too.
The clothes are given to people who need them.

I took clothing there right before Christmas time.
