    Default Msn virus

OK, so my Mother In Law has an MSN virus, sending out links to everyone on her Contacts List, normally not a big deal as i can take care of that (just havent got to it yet) told her to leave it off untill i can fix it. This didnt seem to matter as it was still sending out links. She turned her Laptop off and it's still sending out the link, so i'm wondering if the removal tool will even work at this point. Anyone ever seen this before? any ideas/suggestions?

If you have trouble changing your password, sign in to hotmail, and change it there.
