    Default another dog food question..

So, I have been doing some research and haven been having a debate about this. Currently both of my chi's are on dry dog food but with their level of activity (which is through the roof) I personally think that something like a wet food like the wellness food woul be better for them. They don't have any teeth problems an the other side of the coin that i am getting thrown back at me is that they wet food will stick to their teeth more, possibly causing tooth problems later. They do have chew toys that help stimulate their gums and clean their teeth so I don't konw. Any opinions??

You could mix a little bit of wet food with the dry. Just enough to coat the kibble. I would definitely keep dry food in their diet, though.

On the flip side there are people who say dry is bad for the dog as it has all kinds of fillers and it damages the enamel off their teeth and scratches their gums. there is always conflicting opinions on everything when it comes to animals. Wolves eat raw meat and it is soft and their teeth are fine. If really concerned discuss with your vet. I dont see a problem going soft food if you are comfortable with it and just watch their teeth and give them chew toys to stimulate gums. IMO
If you want the best seat in the house, move the dog.

I have two small dogs, they are on both dry and wet. I also give them milk bones for small breeds. I still have to have their teeth cleaned on a reg basis. I think some breeds just don't have good teeth IMO. Right or wrong?
