Just drove grandaughter too school. The police have St. Georges blocked off from John Street too Wellington, using three crusiers.
Anyone know what happened

I looked out my window this morning to see the police cars out there. I didn't hear anything so I was confused as to what happened at first.

Either someone is crossing when they're not suppose to or someone driving isn't paying attention when they're driving. I see both happen often at these lights, people crossing when they shouldn't be and drivers not paying attention to someone crossing the road.

One serious accident and I act of stupidity by drinking and driving.

I can say that the man is no longer in town. He was transferred to Petoskey.
He is a family member, and many are on there way down. No word, except that he still hasnt waken up.
We received the call this afternoon, and the family appreciates your thoughts and prayers in this matter. He was doing his regular walk when this happened.
For now, that is all we know and can say.
