I got a hibiscus last summer and brought it inside for the winter. I kept it wattered and such but the flowers stopped opening and fell off. The tree/stem parts still looks alive. How do i get it to start flowering again? Do they usually hibernate in the winter? Or maybe my house is not warm enough for it? I am just starting with this whole gardening thing. I am the type of person who kills chia pets and bamboo. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you have to mist the hibiscus at least once a day. if it doesn't have moisture directly on it's leaves it will never flower. also the soil should be kept moist, but not wet at all times. if it dries out it will likely not flower either.
