That mother all she wanted was to be a mom
Just stumbled across this...love it!!
I Don't Have 14 Kids...
So Give Me Money!!!
After the birth of the recent Octuplets, it has been revealed that the crazy, headcase Octuplet mom has a total of 14 kids. And is unemployed. And has no husband. And owes $50,000 in student loans. And lives with her disapproving parents in a 3 bedroom house.
NOW, after proclaiming how she was fully able to care for her litter without support (claiming she doesn't get welfare, yet does use food stamps!), she has put up a website asking for donations to help support her ridiculous decision to unsafely breed a million children she can't afford. Because she wanted LOVE (Maury Povich much?) and felt having a public school's worth of children was the only way to do it!! This is in addition to taxpayers like myself paying her medical bills. Awesome. (http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la...,1790195.story)
Well, I figure that if people will donate money to someone making an outright idiotic decision, then I can only imagine how much money people will donate for me making GOOD decisions with my life.
Mine is a sad story. I graduated high school with a 3.9 GPA. Went to USC and graduated. Got a job right out of college. As if that wasn't enough turmoil, I simultaneously paid my rent, my food, my car payment, my utilities, AND my monthly student loan costs. Can you believe that I was forced to pay all of those things ON MY OWN without anyone giving me a handout? Additionally, I also funded the cost of weekend nights out and the occasional Vegas getaway. What kind of society is this when we force a 24 year old single woman to pay for her own tequila when she makes the decision to go out?
So now I'm asking for your support. I made all of these decisions in my life (education, living alone, buying a new car) without realizing the full ramifications of what I was doing...I was going to be expected to PAY for them. Unbelievable. Please take a moment to give me what you can.
My 42" HDTV depends on it.

Apparently, I'm "Damaging" the Public Internet Social system. Well that's unfrtunate. I wanna keep doing it now.
You been going through Chrysler's mail again? That is verbatim their letter to Obama.
Being neither female nor American I have little room to comment, although that has never stopped me before so, what the hell? Kids in general, girls specifically in our day and age seem to have a problem differentiating between love and lust. While I would agree that lust is the better of the two, love does tend to have a longer shelf life. Parents do seem unable to instill this in their kids and to this end we end up with a litany of broken homes and alienated children. Should you come up with the solution, you would need never work another day.
Give a man a fish, and he'll eat for a day.
Teach a man to fish, and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.
Anapeg...are you responding to my post? Your response doesn't seem to fit. I don't get it??

What should this mother have done? Murder them? or I mean have an abortion?
who decides when having too many kids is too much? triplets? quadruplets? quintuplets? etc...
The only reason this woman makes me angry is because she is perfectly capable of working but is not doing so.

I do not agree with abortion. However she should not have had fertilized eggs implanted into her when she already had kids and had no way of supporting those one or more of them an no father around. Fertility treatment are for those who have the means to support these children not a person like her.
As long as there's still life in me
No matter what...remember
You know I'll always come for you
Also if you have really following this story you will ahve heard than many doctors are up in arms over this woman receiving the fertility treatment and it borders on ethical and moral issues that the doctor who treated her should have respected.
Kids equate sex with love. If a girl gives, in the boy will stay. Love, lust and the inability to discern between the two leads to girls 'giving it away' hoping it is love not lust. Boys tend to think with the wrong head when they do choose to think at all.
Parable; The girl is an N.H.L. goalie and the boys are all forwards. It's the boys soul purpose to score and the girls(goalies) responsibility to make sure he doesn't score. Yes. I do believe that the girl is the one responsible. Yes, I had girls, three. Daughters, married, fathers at home where they belong, kids(many) healthy, happy, see it works.
Someone has to be responsible and it's a medical fact that all the blood for an erection comes directly from a boys brain. Never, never, leave the fox in charge of the hen house. The girl is the one left to suffer when the "light of love" disappears with her girl friend.
Give a man a fish, and he'll eat for a day.

very well said.
My mother in law was telling me about this story the other day. MAKES ME SICK..
what dr in there right mind would even do this if there were over 3 children in the home to that single mother....
I am a mother of 3 with a husband who has a a-1 job.. and we are building and renting a home all at once. I just finished telling my mom the other day.. IM SURE GLADE I WAITED till I was married and Kinda settled before making the decision of having kids (cause I would not of wanted to do this any younger).... I COULD NOT OR WOULD NOT WANT TO EVEN IMAGINE doing this at my age with 14 kids.......
I will be 30 in may my kids are 7 5 and 3...... and I tell ya there are days its very trying...
that woman needs help but where in the hell did she get the money to even have this done? its not free but to cry out for help now as shes made a huge mistake to me is wrong (some will not agree with me some might) them kids need to be taken and given to someone who will have the time and love for them all...
with my three they always do not get equal time and its not cause I dont mean to.. its cause they are all at different levels.. I know I would not have enough time or energy in a day to divide my love between 14 kids of my own even with help
We like bizarre stories, but this one may stretch the limits of our curiosity.
There is something of the carnival sideshow in the unraveling of the story of the Whittier woman who gave birth to eight children last week. If ever a public desperately searching for a bit of good news grew tired of a story after its 15 minutes of fame were over, this is it.
What started as a miracle of science has become the object of derision and professional recriminations. Fertility experts rightly point out that bringing eight babies into the world at one time is questionable ethically and certainly not the goal of fertility treatments. Nadya Suleman, 33, a single mother, could have aborted most of the fetuses. She decided to keep them all, and the 46 physicians and others at Kaiser Hospital in Bellflower performed a medical miracle when they delivered all eight.
Now Suleman, the mother who loves children so much that she has 14 of them, is receiving offers to sell her story, and there may be a TV reality or parenting show in the offing. In an ominous sign that she has commercial interests, she has hired a public relations firm to speak for her. She has said that her reasons for having 14 children under the age of 8 are pure, and not for financial gain. Still, it will be difficult for her to refuse to cash in on her fame. She declared bankruptcy last year, and is living with her parents in a modest and smallish house. The grandparents, as you might guess, aren't
thrilled at either the publicity or the population boom in their house.
Will the public pay to read her story, or watch her be the mother she claims to be in a household of 14 children? Most likely. We have an endless curiosity about the unusual, the bizarre, the sideshow quality of life. Until we get bored, which, for many, won't be long.
here is the actual story taken from here..

I have been watching this story unfold on TV for about a week now. So many things have not made sense right from the beginning. Nadya has lied and made herself look stupid over and over again. I am disgusted by it all, for so many reasons. Her kids were interviewed (the oldest is six) and her daughter seemed a little pissed off about it all. Six years old, her daughter says, "MY mom was already stressed. Now she is going to be REALLY stressed out!" The little girl looked very upset about it. Poor things. I have seen their living conditions and I have seen that crazy woman in a few interviews. God, the whole thing is ridiculous.
I don't have 14 kids either. I am in college full-time, I have four kids and one starts college in the Fall. My husband can't find a decent job and I need a new car. Someone give me money LOL!
Exactly. And she knew that having six embryos implanted meant there was a risk she would have multiple fetuses. She researched it and said she "hoped" she would only have one or two babies as a result of the procedure. Nadya knew the risks and she took those risks. Very irresponsible, considering her situation before she had the IVF done.
I don't understand how she could afford to have IVF even done. The doctor must have been doing it for free, maybe for "medical history" reasons. How many kids can one person have using IVF.
Just saw a story about some broad that had 14 kids and was going for the "Angelina Jolie" look, boob job and all, this the same woman by chance???
She always used the same fertility doctor. He knew what he was doing. He is going under an ethical review of some sort now. What he did WAS unethical and irresponsible.
How did she pay for it? Well, there are some sources that believe the father (apparently always the same man) may have paid for it. Some say she used her student loan, and some say she used her disability benefits. Any way she may have paid for it, she is living in poverty with six kids already and those few thousand dollars would have gone a LONG way for other things. She is a selfish idiot. I think she needs psychiatric help, to say the least.
