    Default Photo Share!

I was thinking how some people including myself like to share the odd photo. So, I thought why not make a thread where we can showcase and brag a bit. I don't always want to start a whole new thread just for one picture and we have a thread to post pictures of ourselves and challenges that are usually theme specific. Here is my first picture I got this past weekend on a fishing trip. My bf was unloading the 4wheeler when I spotted 2 butterflies, I just slid my finger under its feet and it sat on my finger long enough for me to snap this picture.

This is my all time favorite picture of my daughter, I absolutely love black and whites with a touch of color.

that pic of your daughter in my opinion would make an excellent art piece or even magazine shot. You caught the moment of innocence perfectly there.

My camera has a special feature on it. I can aim and set what ever color I want to highlight. It is my FAVORITE feature!

One way is to use a magnetic lasso tool to trace the objects perimeter. Then you can invert the selection so that everything else is selected, then turn the photo to black and white. What was originally selected will remain its natural colour.

Here is an example I just did using Photoshop.

Where do you get photoshop and how much is it?
I am not merely a mass of molecules, incoherently careening through time and space. I am a child of God, destined for another world, a world before which this one pales in significance. Our spiritual preparation for the next world is to be the priority of this life.

You can get Adobe products at any computer store. The larger local stores tend to have them in stock (Staples, Future Shop).

There are 2 versions of Photoshop:
    - Photoshop Elements 5. Costs around $150 or less, and is all that the average home user would ever need.

    - Photoshop CS3. Costs around $600+, and does far more then Elements can, but most of which is rather directed towards the graphic artist, professional user, etc.

There are alternatives to both programs. Corel makes a nice program called Paint Shop Pro 11 that can compete with CS3 on many levels for around the price of Elements. Microsoft also makes a super easy to use program called Picture It! designed for step by step ease of use. It isn't as good as the other programs though.

I was foolin' around with Photoshop a few years back and got this. This is my gurl Chrissy @ Rankin Pow wow, she had her hair all in lil' braids. The paint on her face is in the original pic, I just coloured the beads and dreamcatcher.

Chako, is the a simple tool available somewhere to create this effect. I can't find anything with the software I have from my s5200.

ha ha, I wonder who those 2 are? My favourite is the flaming stack, I love the way the cam picked up the heat waves. I just wish I could have got around all the damn wires.
