    LOL!!!!

It is a FACT the U.S. has won two Gold since 1960, while Canada has won one.
Very good....now who won the most since 1920?
Why do you eliminate 40 years?
The list Riggs posted is correct, so...
Stuck in the Sixties with a bag over your head.
    That's a good look for you.......stunning!

No...all you want to do is fight and argue....if you bring something else like a debate with all the facts then maybe it will stand...otherwise please stop selecting whatever is "good" for you. You have created basically a standard of selecting only certain aspects of the statistic. Yet when proven wrong you refuse to bring more to the table and cry that you win...i will not allow it, plain and simple...If you want an honest open debate, fine. But posing things to start fights isn't going to happen....
IF I GOT SMART WITH YOU....HOW WOULD YOU KNOW??

    30 years ago today..........
Saturday March 3 1979, the Toronto Maple Leafs lined up before their home game against Philadelphia without a coach behind their bench.
Roger Neilson had been fired in a most bizarre fashion following the Leafs' fifth straight loss, 2-1 at Montreal the previous Thursday.
Toronto's owner, Harold Ballard, who had announced that Neilson's job was in jeopardy the week before, told reporters, "Neilson is gone," after the loss to the Canadians.
The next day, Ballard ordered general manager Jim Gregory to ask for Neilson's resignation but the coach would not comply.
Ballard publicly confirmed his decision to fire the coach and said he planned to offer Neilson another job in the organization.
Neilson, meanwhile, had his players fill out a questionnaire, indicating what mistakes they thought he had made to help him in future coaching work.
The players met on Saturday, blamed themselves for the slump and asked Ballard to retain Neilson.
Unable to find another coach in the meantime, Ballard decided to make a joke out of the incident and asked Neilson to appear behind the bench wearing a mask.
Neilson declined but finally agreed to make a late entrance. He appeared, to a standing ovation, just before the puck was dropped and guided his team to a 4-2 victory over the Flyers.

Tell me how this is wrong:

    Gold Medals since 1960
    US-2
    Canada -1

    How is that "wrong"?

What importance does only part of the story have on the "big picture"?
Or are you like my friends special brother that always "repeats" the same things.
Unless you suffer the same "handicap", step up to the plate and tell the "whole truth".
I doubt if you are "man" enough!

The game in 1940 was not the game in 1960. 1960 is part of the modern era of the game.

Very good........Canada was far more dominate in the early years than the dominance they enjoy today.
We kick everyone’s as s in hockey.
The Canadian history in hockey, is the history of hockey!
Now tell me how it helps when it only answers part of the question?
    Modern era in the 60's?
Although expansion started in 67'- 68', you have to look to the 90’s for the modern era Slugger!
In 1960 there were still 6 teams, so....

It's your call to make, Coach.
If you hold him to it....we will never hear from him again.
    He offers so little else.
    .....this should be interesting!

I said the game changed by 1960, thus the 1960 reference.

Are we not allowed to hold opinions, unless those opinions make Canada seem like the greatest hockey nation ever?

actually all you have to do is remove the "seem like" and you'll have it correct.

Just saying "no it isn't ", is not debating, IMO.
You don't have to admit it, just supply something that supports your side.
Show me where the game changed in 1960......modern era(shakes head)!
You will need to except the facts.
There are no facts that dethrones Canada's record of achievement.
Short of half facts and fabrication.........you lose!
Come on Slugger, step up to the plate or STFU!
You don't know, you don't know!
How are the burns....aloe vera should help!

Try and stay on topic or start a new thread Slugger.
    Is it blistering?

    OK Slugger!
Did I tell you that means to the rest of the Hockey world?
The USA is so far down the pecking order in Hockey....I guess it's something to an American.
As a Canadian, it feels good to be King of the Hockey world.
Canadian accomplishments can not be condensed to one sentence of four words!
And the award for hockey achievements that are one sentence long goes to ............The USA.
    You win Slugger.....you win!!!!
