    Default Samba shares

Anybody happen to know if Samba supports read/write/delete permission on a mounted NTFS partition under Suse 11.1 when trying to access shares from a windows machine?
I got some issues getting the write/delete permissions sorted out and want to make sure it's an issue with NTFS handling before reformatting the share to EXT3.

I went with EXT3 instead, working like a charm now.

For future reference, SUSE 11.1's included NTFS driver requires further configuration using the ntfs-config tool in order to permit write/delete operations. This should all be Samba-independent "troubleshooting". In its infancy, NTFS-3G was "wonky" and prone to munging filesystems, hence the less promiscuous approach taken towards full access permissions by modern revisions.
