    These are insane. I was browsing this site because I bought a cam from them, and I came across a 31MP and a 39 MP cam. And they are on sale....lol

    These are mostly used in high end modeling, advertising and fashion photography. The files from these cameras are unreal, you can zoom in to every pore, every goosebump and every hair.

    For the price that these photographers would charge for a session these cameras would pay for themselves pretty quickly.

    Likewise, many pro photographers wouldn't buy the units out right. They would be leased, rented, or lent from various agencies for specified jobs. Even the top photographers would have a hard time justifying 40K on a camera that may be eclipsed a few years later...business expense or not.
