That does not matter, since both of those are human languages and not related to any type of God.

I see, that makes a lot of sense.

Indeed it does. I bet nobody can tell me what language the Holy Spirit speaks besides human languages.

You have now exchanged the word interpret for translate. There is a big difference. Did you intend that?

Awww, so sad, once again Blue is unable to carry on a substantive conversation because, alas, the person he is debating with simply doesn't have the requisite skills to meet his lofty goals.

If only there was a site he could go to where most members match his needs ...

No, not in the least. A faux pas as I was searching for the word interpret and it did not come. Apologies.
The aim of argument, or of discussion, should not be victory, but progress.

Related to this, I did some word study a while ago on various translated words.

I looked into two different words, obey and believe.

One was an english word in the KIng James version, thats source was no less that eight different Greek words. All translated by one english word. On the other hand, a single greek word was translated into english by as many as 13 different english words.

Translation AND interpretation sometimes go hand in hand.

Then there are words that very clearly show a bias of the translator. 1 John 1:1 says in the KJV, "and the word )Jesus) was God". In the Jehovah's Witness bible, it says "the word was a god". The problem?? Apparently there IS no word "a" in Greek.

    There are others.

I've engaged a lot.You flail in the wind, it's both pathetic and comical to watch.

Your naked emperor runs for the hills. He can't even take me on, let alone Catholic theologians over at the other site.
