    Grumpy, you were there!
    They were fantastic games.
Incredible hockey for 94's or 14 and 15 year old boys.
The Marlboros have a possible 11 or 12 OHL draft picks and maybe 5 or 6 potential NHLers.
All teams had kids that will get to the OHL or NCAA Division 1.
That tournament was the best hockey I watched all year.
    Disappointing crowds...man?
Hats off to the tournament organizers Adam Caughill SMHA and Ralph Caria Soo Greyhound AAA Bantams.
Visiting teams and parents all commented that they had never seen anything like.
The strong Canadian Hockey Fraternity was alive and well last week!
All teams went home with great stories after a great experience in Sault Ste. Marie.
    Nice...............!

Brown said that Sault Ste. Marie was "a great Canadian hockey town from the referees to the volunteers."

actually any of the 4 final teams would have made good champs but sadly there can only be one.as for the crowds or lack there of where else are you going to see that good hockey for that price the 2 final games came to a whopping $5 for the two of them

    Ah, so true!
The Toronto Marlboros, IMO, were the cream of the crop.
They looked and played more like a Junior than a Bantam team.
They had 5 kids over 6 feet and 2 of them over 200lbs.....at 14 years old!
I've been in about every barn in the province through my years in hockey.
They are the best Bantam team I have ever seen.

The thing that I noticed about the other teams mainly was that their players were at the age where you have to score to be a star getting an assist doesn't cut it.Not knocking anyone its a natural stage that almost everyone goes through. I just feel sorry for those hockey fans who missed out on some great hockey at a very good price. You could have taken your whole family for what it cost for one ticket to a Hounds game and seen way better hockey.
