ty that is a good site too. Someone I know has the online "Black Book" and suggested a price for my van for me, so I went with that. Why is there such a difference between trade in value at a dealership than through the "book" private. Anyone know?

Cause the dealer needs to make money to stay in business!

thats what I thought so they can sell it for more. I did some research sort of speak to come up with the price including asking here for suggestions. I found that even Auto trader mag prices were well above what Im asking for the same year model, with way more km's than mine has. Hopefully someone out there is looking for a good van for a good price.

You can get a UVIP (Used Vehicle Information Package). It costs $20 and it also tells you how you how much the vehicle is worth, previous owners as well as any liens on the vehicle. You can pick it up from the MTO on Bruce St.

ty for reminding me about that. I know there are no leins or whatever. I will go down and get the package tomorrow. Like I stated in the add its also Best offer. Im not into ripping people off for profit and am easy to deal with. I just want the van gone as next week I am leaving for vacation and would like it gone by then or it will have to sit for a bit till I get back.

because the dealer gives you wholesale price. If they were to give you retail they would not make a profit
