Snowbirds here in June

Story is from a few weeks ago but I did a quick search and did not see any threads about it ...

They will be here to put on a FREE airshow on June 10th at the airport. I figured I should start a thread about it to get people talking about it...the more people we can get out the better. They want a crowd of 5000-10000... in my opinion thats pretty optimistic thinking but perhaps if the word is out early this city can fulfill.


Should be an awesome show. I remember seeing them once before here in the Soo and it was great.

Funny you mention that - there was a story on the news tonight about how they aren't getting new planes any time soon ...

I like the U.S Blue Angels ....Snowbirds are like ......well like the Canadian army ...pretty outdated

After seeing a few crashes from air shows they kind of creep me out now. I used to watch them all the time when I was smaller with my parents.

Back in my cab drivin days, I picked them up and drove them in to town from the airport. That was way back..
