    Default australian cattle dog

I just love the the australian cattle sheppard on the movie of MaddMax. I've alway loved them. I want one of those that look like him . Not like I want one right now, but i would like to know where to find that special breed . but he would have to be almost the exact.

are you speaking of the Australian cattle dog or the Australian Shepherd ? The shepherd looks like a sheep dog in that the male is large and very hairy. http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/australianshepherd.htm

I believe the type of dog you are refering to is a breed called the blue heeler. it is sometimes refered to as an australian cattle dog. But google blue heeler and you will see the exact same dog.

The dog in Mad Max was a cattle dog, or blue heeler. They're very very much farm dogs and don't make good "pets" due to being prone to pretty serious behavior problems (destructive, aggressive) if they aren't constantly stimulated and receiving lots of hard exercise.

I have to disagree... A friend of mine has an Australian Cattle dog and she is a very calm dog who obeys commands she even helps herd the neighbor's kids back into the yard if they get too close to the road. She does not wander as their yard is not fenced.
If you want the best seat in the house, move the dog.

what color as mine is a black-tri? I wouldn't say they weresucks just not aggressive. Mine was only in one almost fight and all he did was to stand on his toes and puff himself up so he looked twice as big, luckily the other dog backed down or I don't know what he would have done .
