I'm going downtown around 10am on Canada Day. Love living in Ottawa... It's the biggest party of the year here!

Well Happy Birthday on Canada's Day!!!!

I use to live in Ottawa like years and years ago when I was much younger. I remember watching the fireworks on Parliament Hill.

Pamela Anderson (1967) Princess Diana (1961) Carl Lewis (1961)
Michelle Wright (1961) Alan Ruck (1956) Dan Aykroyd (1952)
Deborah Harry (1945) Karen Black (1942) Genevieve Bujold (1942)

There are opening ceremonies at 2 pm, then followed by childrens entertainment Smudge Fundaes or something like that, then other stage stuff too. Was in the paper today. Fireworks are listed as starting at 1030 pm.

Cord Lund Band was playing on Parliament Hill this morning, and then our (crappy) Canadian Idol winner sang Oh Canada, and the Snowbirds did two flyby's. There's an estimated 675,000 people downtown here this year apparently.
