Easy never fail Grandma worthy potatoe salad:

    8-10 potatoes boiled, mashed, cooled
    8 hardboiled eggs
    green onions
    celery
    radish
    1 bottle coleslaw dressing

Mash 6 of the hardboiled eggs, add to cooled mashed potatoes, stir in chopped green onions, chopped celery and radish, mix well. Add coleslaw dressing until all is well mixed. Cool for a couple of hours, check consistency, you might have to add more dressing, if so, add dressing, mix, top with remaining 2 eggs sliced and sprinkle with paprika!! Very easy, always tastes the same and my Grandmother loved it!!!

My potato salad is very simple
I get volunteered to make it for every get together.

Not specific when it comes to measurements.

I peel my potatoe's and cut them into small pieces.
boil the potatoe's, allow them to cool enough to handle.
boil and peel 3 or 4 eggs.

I chop my potatoe's on the cutting board, a few at a time.
Add the diced eggs, three or four green onions - depending on the size of salad.
1/4 cup of diced sweet onion - vadalia if possible.
Miracle whip - NOT LIGHT the real deal.
    salt and fresh ground pepper.
I mix this when the potatoe's are still slightly warm

Thats it. Nothing fancy but in a taste test my potatoe salad always wins.

i make mine very simple and it is very good

boil potatoes ( however many you think is enough)
    boil 3-4 eggs
miracle whip ( i eye ball it)
    tbls mustard ( optional)

peel eggs and cut up put cooked eggs and potatoes into a bowl, add miracle whip and 2 tbls of mustard( optional) cant really taste the mustard anyways but it does make it a little better. mix all together you can add onion if you like but i dont..and its ready to go..

I add mayo, sour cream, mustard (hot mustard if I have it), bacon, cheddar cheese and cut up pickles.

I'm not a fan of eggs in general or onions, so I leave those out.

The best potato salad I ever made was at camp one day when we were going to a potluck across the lake. I realized (at the last minute) I forgot to bring the necessary ingredients from home so I had to use *whatever* was in the fridge..lol

    potatoes - boiled, cubed, cooled.
a can of peaches and cream corn - niblets (not creamed corn)
a bottle of creamy cucumber dressing

    that's it.

I know, it sounds kinda gross..but it was actually awesome!

Everyone kept asking me for my "secret recipe". I said it was an old family recipe and that I couldn't give it out...lol

Other than that, I usually make the Bavarian style. Basically means, leave the skins on the potatoes, use sour cream instead of mayo and put cubed ham and onions in it.

    That one's GREAT too!

I boil baby potatoes whole (mixture of white and red). Drain them, cut them in half and pour Zesty Italian salad dressing (enough to almost coat) over them while they're still hot). Let cool. Chop green onions, radish (finely) and boiled egg. Add these to the potatoes when they're cooled off. Add mayo (I use light). Mix together... cool a few hours to let the flavour come out then serve.

    Potatoes peel, cut, boil
    Hellmans
5 eggs(boiled and peeled and cut)
    Green onions chopped
    celery chopped
Radish if you like but I don't care for it in my potato salad.

Similar to Ma's but I use hellmans for my potato salad and miracle whip for my macaroni salad. So when it comes to bbq season they both have a different taste and don't taste similar
