    Default dying tv question

    anyone know what i could do with it?

    not quite dead yet - but the screen is slowly going.

    since its the first time i had a tv die on me - i dont know what to do... any suggestions/ideas?

    bury it? Take it to the dump...or get creative and gut it out and make something out of the frame if its wood.

    guess there's no place that can recycle it?

    Well don't open it unless you know what you’re doing. Capacitors inside can kill you if you’re not careful. Thought I would add that friendly warning.

    i would if i could but the car is regulated to local travel only and that dont include the dump or town - i'd have to borrow some wheels 2 get 2 town

    i remember when i was a youngin & i helped my grandmother make Christmas sceneries inside the wooden frames using cotton batten, little model houses, trees & round mirrors for ponds.
