And the point of this post is????

"Annette, AK, in the extreme southeastern portion of the state, broke a daily record high temperature Monday 6 / 1 with a high of 78. The previous daily record was 75."

    http://www.examiner.com/x-7324-Coast...coastal-Alaska

The unseasonably mild temperatures and unsettled weather in Redding is expected to continue throughout the rest of the week and into early next week, forecasters with the National Weather Service said.

Colder than normal somewhere, warmer than normal somewhere else. It's the idea that you still think that isolated weather events are proof of global warming or not is what's truly mind boggling.

And people wonder why some people are so turned off by Christianity.

It's the hypocrisy of the messengers, not the message itself.

Odd how you seem to be the only one who makes such a comment.

At least you can have a discussion with him about something...
You just pick up your "Christianity for dummies" book so you don't actually have to think on your own and blurt out some obscure string of words of no real substance, but sound really, really profound.

Here's some more local weather events for you from just the last couple weeks....

BRITISH COLUMBIA - Heat wave over B.C. smashes records

"Twenty-one record temperatures were smashed around the province Thursday, including a 72-year-old record in Lillooet."

    http://soonet.ca/newreply.php?do=new...ote=1&p=459322

BULGARIA - Northeast Bulgaria Registers Record Heat Wave

"The Danube city of Silistra registered at 12 pm Sunday a temperature of 35 degrees Celsius, the local meteorology station reports.

The weather people forecast even higher afternoon temperatures that might hit new records.

The temperature measured in Silistra Sunday is the maximum for this day in over 100 years. The absolute June record was on June 26, 2007 - 39,6 degrees Celsius, while the absolute low has been on June 4, 1950 - 5,5 degrees Celsius."

INDIA - No respite from heat wave for Delhi residents

"NEW DELHI: There was no respite for residents of the capital from the heat wave on Sunday as the mercury remained above 40 degrees
    Celsius for
    the fifth consecutive day.

The maximum was recorded at 40.1 degrees Celsius against yesterday's 41.3 degree Celsius while the minimum stood at 27.6 degrees Celsius, the Met Department said."

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON - Seattle bakes in record heat

"Usually around this time of year, we're talking about the June drizzle.

This year, it's the June sizzle.

Our first bonafide heat wave stretched into day 2 Wednesday as temperatures closed in on 90 degrees again. While Tuesday's 88 degree high was well short of the record high of 94 in Seattle, Wednesday's record high of 87 was much more attainable, and it fell easily when Seattle hit 88 at 3 p.m."

Using the "Slow Climate Theory", this must be solid proof that Global Warming must be really happening. "Hot, Hot, Hot"

Nothing. "Some" seem to think that unusually cold weather events lay waste to global warming theories. I'm just suggesting that, were that true, unusually warm weather events should thus confirm global warming.

Long story short, there are some who continue to insist that weather and climate mean the same thing. I'm not one of them.

While I don't aspire to your beliefs I thought I might help with the delineation between the terms.
