    Default trees in power lines

I just bought a house and we noticed the trees in our backyard have grown up into the power lines, now obviously i am not going to trim em myself and am going to have to call PUC to come do it but are they are going to charge me for the service?

When they came and cut the trees on our road they did not charge us.
There was one that was in our yard they cut the top off and they did not need to.

I know right now they have crews doing just this. They were in my neighborhood last week. They don't charge extra for it but we are all paying for it if ya know what I mean.

We had trees cut down last year from PUC. They will cut to below the power lines and it will be up to you to cut down the rest. You can call now but - we did about this time last year and they came around the end of Sept. When they have time to they will do it not a priority, hope this helps

no, if the trees need trimming, puc will send someone and not charge you. have had it done myself on two of my properties.
